Roberto Artavia

President of the VIVA Trust and the Latinoamérica Posible Foundation. Roberto Artavia was the rector of the INCAE Business School and founding director of the Latin American Center for Competitiveness and Sustainable Development. He is a member of INCAE's Steering Council and the World Resources Institute in Washington, DC. Co-founder of the Digital Strategy project of Costa Rica and member of the Commission for Competitiveness of the Costa Rica Chamber of Commerce. Co-founder of the Central American Initiative for Leadership and director of several international companies in the region.

Roberto Artavia holds a doctorate from the Harvard Business School, a master's degree in business administration from INCAE and a degree in naval engineering and mechanics. He is the author of several books and dozens of articles and case studies about sustainable development, strategic administration, non-profit organization strategy, agroindustry and corporate social responsibility.

He has advised corporations, non-profit organizations and governments in Argentina, Paraguay, Chile, Colombia, Brazil, Ecuador, all the countries of Central America, the Dominican Republic and Mexico. He has been invited to speak at major forums on sustainable development in Latin America, the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia.

Gian Castillero

Gian Castillero is a member of the Board of the Maritime University of Panama, the Plaza Amador Athletic Association, and the Executive Council of the WTT Foundation. He is president of the sub-commission for the project to modernize the merchant marine laws of Panama, President of the International Bar Association, a member of the presidential committee for the protection of international and financial services in Panama, member of the International Maritime Committee, and he directed the Panamanian Association of Maritime Lawyers.

He has a master's degree in Commercial Law from the school of Economic Sciences of London University and a bachelor's degree in Law and Political Science.

Gian Castillero has been a partner in the law firm of Arias, Fábrega & Fábrega since 1994. His main areas of work are commercial, corporate and maritime law. He is a private advisor in several specialized fields: asset management, management and structuring of foundations and trusts, philanthropic entities, fiscal planning and corporate consulting. He is also a professional advisor to several NGOs in Panama: MarViva, AVINA, Latin America in Solidarity Action (ALAS in Spanish), Fundes, Latinoamérica Posible, Forum Business Network and Un techo para mi país.

Christian Verling

Christian Verling is Executive Director and owner of the Crea Trust. He is a trust and asset administrator for a group of businesses with offices in Liechtenstein, Panama and Costa Rica; President of the Bamont Trust Company Ltd., in the Bahamas; co-founder and owner of VVT Asset Management Trust (Vaduz) and a specialist in private banking, asset management and corporate services. He is also a certified accountant and a licensed trustee, specializing in international law and wealth management with more than 20 years of professional experience in international finance, trust services and taxation systems.

In addition to serving as a member of several international companies and a Latin American art collection, he also participates on the board of directors of some philanthropic organizations and private family foundations.

He served as treasurer in Grupo Nueva and was the financial director of AVINA in Latin America. He created and administered a series of savings and pension plans for international corporations and numerous projects that control investment allocations in real estate and industrial projects in the region, and he worked with the government finance committee of Vaduz, Liechtenstein.
